the7stars returned from the pandemic with renewed energy and sense of purpose. We’ve doubled down on what’s always driven us as an independent: Freedom.

Our Freedom Philosophy means freeing people to be themselves, work in unrestricted ways, and take a different approach to best serve our clients. The results have been immediate. We cemented our position as the UK’s most successful and largest independent media agency with billings up 28% to £426m. Putting that number in context; Ad intel reports average growth of 5% across the other agencies making up the top 10. We’ve won 15 new clients - including A.G Barr, Bensons for Beds and John Frieda - and are currently top of Campaign’s new-biz table. Testament to the work we do. New-biz isn't the only table we topped. the7stars came first in Campaign’s Best Places to Work 2022 and had a 9th consecutive appearance in The Times Best 100 Companies and our DE&I efforts saw us awarded the coveted All-In Champion status by the Advertising Association. We also strengthened our commitment to a culture of effective work and were among the first agencies to receive an IPA Effectiveness Accreditation. We focused on collaboration, making it easier for our people, clients and media partners to work together both in person and via remote hybrid working. We looked beyond what a media agency traditionally offers, building our Supernova Studios, creating creative optimisation tool HALO and running an Effectiveness University course for all our clients.
