2022 was a massive year for women's football with the UEFA 2022 European Women’s Championship giving Nike the perfect opportunity to inspire the next generation of female footballers. Challenging preconceptions and stereotypes Nike teamed up with TikTok to create its fun #NikeShesBallin challenge to tackle the issue. The campaign featuring women of different nationalities, backgrounds and ethnicities playing and enjoying football invited fans to show how they’re a baller both on and off the pitch. The hashtag challenge hit the back of the net, scoring 3.6bn views during the tournament, doubling to 7.2bn views to-date and inspired more than 727,000 uses of #NikeShesBallin on TikTok
