i-media had spent years attempting to build a process to ingest a wealth of data from its MSA environments, in particular ANPR and EPOS data, to drive better campaign planning and data driven products.

Unfortunately, very little progress had been by previous teams and consultants. No processes had been automated, the cloud infrastructure was essentially non-existent, and the company was not capable of handling real-time data. Enter, Jacob. Initially interviewed as a consultant, i-media recognised Jacob’s expertise and potential, and offered him a full-time position after one meeting. Jacob was thus hired as Product Manager and promoted within five months to Chief Technology Officer, due to his immediate impact upon the business. Since his promotion, we have expanded our automated ingestion of data to our 3 largest operating partners capturing well over 90% of our sites. Additionally, we have used these feeds to launch a number of data driven products and tools that have driven millions of pounds of incremental revenue for the business and earned significant industry interest in the DOOH space Jacob has been instrumental in taking the company from a predominantly static-screen MSA media owner to an intelligent motoring media network, powered by data, insights and technology. We now have a multi-layered communication platform that delivers both broadcast and targeted audiences through our real-time data and analytics.
